Ahhh, Mr Leon Redbone. A personal favourite.
Baldur has been to at least 30 of his concerts. Mr. Redbone appears at a local venue, Chan's Eggroll and Jazz in Woonsocket, RI at least annually.

He has also appeared elsewhere in RI.
The first of his concerts that I attended was many years ago. I took the woman who later became my wife.
She is a long story but we've now been happily divrced for many years.
I introduce her to people as 'my dearly departed'.
Anyway...
At this first Leon Redbone concert (for me) he was the opening act for comedian George Carlin.
The only reason the ex agreed to accompany me was so she could see Mr. Carlin. I was not a fan, still am not, so I tried to get her to leave with me as soon as Leon Redbone's set was over.
What an interesting argument that provoked.
We stayed.

Leon Redbone, 'Ghost of the St. Louis Blues'

Incidentally I've just learned that Leon Redbone recently released a new album. Somehow it slipped by unnoticed.
I'm off to CDBaby.com

My wife loves the TV show "Bones". So I will add Oingo Boingo's song "Dead Man's Party" to the list with the video being an ad for "Bones" they did years ago. Enjoy!

I love him and how I get swept back to New Orleans upon hearing his voice.
Baldur lost his heart to New Orleans many years ago.

The fun continues, listen to Will Smith & DJ Jazzy Jeff perform 'A Nightmare on My Street'

Not a music video this time but a commercial.
Here in the colonies there was a popular series of commercials for Old Spice Body Wash featuring Isaiah Mustafa.
Sesame Street took the concept and ran with it.
Here is the compilation of the original commercial followed by the brilliant Muppet version.

Of course being Halloween season there is a monster....

HelloBaldur was away on Cape Cod for the weekend.
Thew drive home was very slow as it was through a very odd early season snow storm.
The whole weeklend was distinguished by very wet and windy weather.

Here is an odd fact. Baldur has no ThinkDraw pictures done in the theme of 'Fruit'. Imagine that!

I had to check your gallery just to check. You are right, there are no drawings in fruit. You have way more pictures than I do, so I expected that you had some of every theme. Candy seems to be your favorite.

I remember I had a piece done in fruit called 'Pop', that forsome reason was later deleted.
It was designed mainly as a bit of playback animation.

The discovery of the odd lack of fruit was due to my using the search function of my picture gallery. I attempted to see which were my highest rated pictures in each category, curious if there was some common denominator. That answer is no; but the the lack of fruit surprised me.

Baldur, sorry to interrupt. I need a little air time to report a missing person. On Sept.9, Cathyallheart handed the baton to Chirping for her entry in the Forum Challenge CXXVI - "Summer Storms". Chirping has not responded, and so there is no new challenge. There also seems to be no Cathy. We are not only missing their art, but we need one or both of these ladies to respond to this bulletin and get our Challenge CXXVII going!

To butt in, I agree with Lizzi. I posted on Chirping's last picture of Sept 2nd asking where she was etc. and no response. ..I hope she is OK, as she was doing several pics a week (at least since I started) and now nothing. I miss her art. I also miss the challenge.
