Is that a dig on those of us who are differently re-animated?

11182. 19 Oct 2014 13:52

Baldur

Oh certainly not Bugoy1 I love the reanimate.

But let us transition now onto the topic of Hallowe'en.
I think it would be fun to build the ultimate Hallowe'en Party music playlist.
Let me start with this juicy number

'They're coming to take me away' by Napoleon XIV

..and the obversive: 'I'm happy they took you away' by Josephine.

and if that isn't enough, the B side of Napoleon XIV's version which is the same song played in reverse. Life is good.

And

I fill my yard with dancing pumpkins and sugar skull skeltons. Creepy cheer!

Btw Napoleons orginal is still so fabulous.

No sure why my links are bad but the first is Skelton Watlz by Dave Thomas. The second Faran Flad version of Shaking of the Sheet which is strangely addictive.

Both excellent additions Fangzzz. Here are the hopefully functional links:

Here is the theme song froom the old television version of
'The Addams Family'

To this day I think Carolyn Jones made that show as wonderful as it was.

Thank you Baldur! Loved the flamenco guitar played by Ash Wainman and Benjamin Woods. I would consider adding one to my collection.
Also enjoyed Faran Flad. I would add them to my East Coast music collection.

And thanks Fangzzz for those adorable furballs on youtube!

My forever Addams Family couple have to be Angelica Houston and Raul Julia (who sadly is no longer with us).

I'm glad you are enjoying this indigo.
Here is another before my daily errands begin.

The music just keeps on coming.
There are many versions of this song, 'Disco Inferno' by the Trammps, online. Being a sentimental fool I chose this version introduced by Wolfman Jack for this countdown.
Enjoy.

Next a song from a goddess that I have conversed with online. She is a charming chanteuse. Buy her music, every record library would be enriched by her classic album: 'Polka-Haunt-Us'

Veronique Chevalier, with her song 'Vampire Surprise'

Of course what Hallowe'en list would be complete with Bobby 'Boris' Picket's 'Monster Mash'?

Here is an interesting one.
Stevie Wonder performing 'Superstition' live on Sesame Street.
It appears to have been filmed in the 1970s.

He also is wearing a wristwatch. I understand that there are probably electronic watches now that would be of use to a blind man, but back then?
Was there such a device that could audibly give one the time and be as small as a watch?
