GOLDIEGIRL8

here goes, Im trying out a RANDOM poll...

Choose a random word out of these. Which is it?
a.Elephant
b.Cheese
c.Techno-pop
d. novel

Qsilv

elephant ...it just strikes me as full of character
(the thought of cheese makes me hungry --silly at 1am, e-pop's mildly amusing, a novel involves paying sustained attention --equally silly at 1am!)

C. Tehno-pop...tehno doesn't sound much like me, but pop is one of my favourite music genres and life without music strikes me as absurd!
(Love the choices you've put here Goldie. It's a very interesting question. I guess the answers you'll get on this will reflect more the state of mind/mood we're in , then our personality. As Q implied, sometimes we need things to be 'easier-to-digest' .)

Baldur

b. cheese

c. techno-pop My reasoning is that you can actually touch the other things, but techno-pop is not tangible. But, I suppose techno-pop touches some of us! Interesting choices, Goldie.

I'm torn between Elephant and Cheese. Both words call to me but I'm not sure why.

Konnichiwa! On May 27, Goldie hopped on a plane to Tokyo, Japan and will not be returning to Hawaii until August 14. While we are on the topic of traveling, lets give this poll a try.

If you worked for the military, and you were given THESE choices to move to, which one would u pick?
a. Rome, Italy
b. Tokyo, Japan
c. Maryland, USA
d. Kailua-Kona Hawaii, USA

btw, i picked those specific places cuz a) they all have different food and b) if u really were in the military getting stationed somewhere else u cud get one of these.

Dragon

My name is Dragon because I love dragons and my Chinese horoscope sign is the dragon. But I do love drawing dragons and I have been drawing them since I was quite young. Thanks for asking Goldie!

For your other question I think I would chose Hawaii but it was really close between that and Rome.

polenta

Dear Goldie,

I was born and have always lived in Uruguay. My mother tongue is Spanish and Uruguay is quite monolingual so if you go out in the street you ONLY hear Spanish. Of course many people study English but it's not part of what you use at home or in the street. Even if you go to a bilingual school, children speak Spanish during the break in the playground.

As for polenta, yes it's like "corn flour" and it's an Italian dish, very much eaten in winter here and considered not very refined or let's say.... it's inexpensive and widely used if you are poor. Well, that could also depend on the sauce you use it with. LOL
Thanks Goldie, curious girl.

Thank you 4 ur answers!

Brigsis, I like Milk Chocolate, especially Hershey's original milk chocolate. I also like white chocolate.
Polenta, polenta is my favorite food so I was wondering if your username has anything to do with the food. (I LOVE Italian food!)
