He knows how the story ends and where it began. I know nothing but what I see. So I must ask, where then should I place my trust?

We are all fixers.Fix a chair,sink, toy. But we can't fix others,though we can try.We are helpless, and in the pit of ourselves,that pain is undescribable. A hole in our heart, we naturally want to fix the causes. We are care takers, and helpless. God is taking care of all of us. The word "comforter" is my favorite for our Lord, as a comforter enfolds us, so does He. We trust that comforter, to keep us warm and safe. The good Lord does have the answers for us all, and knows whats to happen. For me, the hardest thing, is turning everything over to Him. I want to take control, and fix everything. And realize all I have to do is trust my Comforter.

Jesus said ask anything in my name, faith believing & it will be given to you... Never did he say I had to be free from sin to ask him to bless someone... If that were the case, none could ask for his ear...

We are ALL stank sinners & fall short of the glory of God...

He also said, love your enemies... You have created your own enemy... Love me as he loved sinful man enough to lay down his life for us... Seek healing for your hatred...

I will always hide behind my Lord & my God, because I am not worth the dung on the ground that he walked on... His sacrifice covers my sins from the eyes of God...

The answer to a small prayer of mine... I am asking EVERYONE to STOP VOTING!!! Just thinking about it has lifted a great weight, & I feel GOOD at TD again! I will comment till the cows come home, but I WILL NOT VOTE~ & I REALLY hope EVERYONE will follow my lead. I will carry this torch to the end of the TD earth!

Thanks DM! I know a lot of us have been struggling with this for a VERY LONG TIME! Harmony & peace is all any of us want! (I know, I know~ the playful banter WILL go on I hope!) It's the meanness we all want to see GONE.

It all depends now what Rachel does with our response whether she does away with the voting system all together. At least we are having our say by not voting. There are many great artists here, I don't see anyone as the best or my favorite and that includes my own work.

What I like best about no votes is the way it will effect the showcase. It would than be a showcase of a theme of choice period, no voting down to change placement on a page.

Beautifully said Dmarcella. I would love to see the showcase presented simply in Most Recent order. (And you're right, there is no 'best artist' just artists)
