Here's my offering for the Self-Portrait challenge. It looks kind of like me; not bad for cow and chicken parts.

I hope that you're all enjoying this as much as I am! It's wonderful to put faces to the names. I'm surprised that nearly everybody has done a true to life portrait so far... I didn't expect that!

How I'm going to pick a winner, I don't know!! Thank you all so much for being a part of this challenge...

Here's my picture... it seemed only fair that I should do one too!

'k, if we're bringing up old ones, here's this --

http://www.thinkdraw.com/picture.php?pictureId=26957

It was really just a free-form experiment in dimensionality, but with no model of course I wound up basing it on my own structure (since I know that so well, seeing it in the mirror every day), so I wouldn't call it a successful PORTRAIT (I should look so tan and fit and heroic, ha!).

I would call it a successful head-study PICTURE however, because it used the elements with a certain dynamic flair, keeping their integrity. They're not all blended down to mud.

Your eye gets to imagine more things, more possibilities, as it tries to "fill in the blanks"... sort of like how a moving image shows more character than a still-photo can capture.
