How about 'Weather' pics. We Brits are reputed to talk of little else, but of course that is greatly exaggerated.......... by the way, it's really cold here, so much snow!!

.. we want something that everyone can have a go at.. and I'd like to rephrase my earlier suggestion.. (which was music).. and extend it to culture, literature, art, anything..

how's about 'classical' ? .. or 'the classics' ?

How about instead of asking "Add to City Life Showcase" beside the check box, it said "Does this picture have anything to do with City Life?"

That would clear up any confusion wouldn't it???

i tried to add a picture to the current showcase and it didn't work and when i edit details the box to add to showcase does not even come up: what's up?

Sorry hjjr. Your picture had been in the showcase but was removed as we didn't understand the connection to the subject. Once a picture has been removed there is no longer an option to add it to the showcase again.

Anyway, your picture has been restored.

I might be a little late in suggesting this but I would enjoying seeing a Showcase for the 2010 Olympics or perhaps another Winter Sports one.

I'd love a 'Movies' showcase...scenes, actors, directors,cameras, cinemas, costumes...everything related to this theme.

what about zodiac signs ,though they r 12 but it will be fun to draw with our own imagination

actually, that could be expanded to "signs & symbols" so zodiac, deaf-sign-language, traffic and other safety signage, chemical symbols, Rorschach blots (ok that last was pushing it... but that's so us!)

other wise we can also go for famous animation like mickeymouse,noddy , miffy and all the other famous animations
but however i always vote for zodic signs

Or maybe 'famous faces' instead of famous people...people is a bit restrictive , especially for new comers. Faces would also allow cartoons, 'Lassie'-s, and so on.

ah but Weather tended towards skies and stormy stuff. Spring is all about newness, and it can go other directions too, especially if it doesn't say springTIME, you know us, there'd be coiled thingies and pogo-sticks and who knows what-all-else!

(no no no... I am not here... nope, I'm working on Real Life stuff... nodnod... really...)
