I thought I'd create this topic for everyone out there who just needs a little bit of prayer (or maybe a lot a bit!). There seems to be quite a few "believers" on here so this topic may be appropriate for people to request prayer for themselves or others, to respond to requests, to update everyone on past requests, etc. Though I'm not a moderator or anything, I would like to ask that you keep this talk appropriate (especially for the younger crowd here) and for the sake of religious freedom, please do not persecute anyone for his/her beliefs.

I would like to start by asking for prayer for my job situation. I am looking for a job that will allow me to go back to school so that I can get my Master's and that will also be challenging and enjoyable. I had posted a picture ("Please Pray") a little while back about this same request. I will update you all as this situation progresses.

My fiance, Kevin, just lost his job on Friday. Please pray that he finds something soon. This is just the worst time to lose a job, let alone find another one.

I am so sorry to hear that you and your fiance are both looking for work. I know this is a difficult thing... been there, done that. You and he are in my prayers. Just a word to you, remember when you pray as taught to us by Jesus, "...Give us this DAY, our daily bread...". He was instructing us to trust Him to provide for us today, not next week, next month. This is a time for your faith to be resolute... my God will see us through this time and care for us each day. Don't borrow worries from tomorrow.

Thanks, jmdx3mom. I've been pretty upset. We're trying to figure out what to do. It's been a very difficult few days so far. I have enough in my savings right now to provide for a little while, but it won't last too long. I'm trying to keep my head up and be supportive. It's the best I can do right now.

It may take some time but this storm will pass. my husband and i were out of work for over a year...it was tough but when we ran out of our own resources, but day by day God came through for us.
I'll be praying and thanking God for the provision He has planned for you.

foundations on faith definitely trump a pessimistic attitude toward god. if there has been an explaination for the times when i thought there wasnt any, it was called a blessing, and i remain humble and thankful. bless all that need it, even if they dont want it for themselves, for i know they could probably use it. god blesses everyone, its us that dont take time to SEE.

I'm going for treatment sessions at Center IMT tomorrow - Fri for a chronic health issue. It is 2 hrs each day. If they cancel due to weather I miss out on that day's treatment because it is a free clinic. Ask that I get the most out of treatment and that I get well.
