...and Pineapple Tomato, how could I forget that?
The fruit on tht variety can get to weigh 4 pounds each.
Admittingly Baldur has never successfully harvested a huge tomato here at Boughbreak.
While they can be excellent the tomatoes from my garden rarely exceed 8 ounces.

The Eggplants were put in today:
10 dark purple ones, a mixture of 'Classic' and 'Black Beauty'
6 White skinned Eggplant

Last yesr Baldur had planted some of the long narrow Asian eggplant, but won't be doing that again. I was very unhappy with it.
The plants were quite prolific but they didn't pass muster in the kitchen.
They were a bit of a pain to peel, and the skin was too tough not to peel it off before cooking.
It's back to Italian eggplant.
