glad to hear your good news Steve!

And Here it is an update about my mother: she's going better, now she has a tutor for her arm but can put it off and do excercise several times each day.
It'c omplicated ofr me to explain the situation in English, anyway the bone is healing, although there is a little rotation in the sealing and so we still don't know how much she'll be able to recovery and gain the full range of movement.
Anyway, she's strong, persevering and positive and so I hope she'll sucess.
She's very strong and

I wish your Mother a full recovery Clo, I'm glad she is positive and with the right treatment and care results will be satisfying and she will regain full movement. It's good that you are there to support her.

I am still here Td'ers one reason why I have been absent is my computer has been playing me up, I have ordered a new PC (finally) my current system is after all nearly fifteen years old. So I am waiting for Dell computers to build and ship my new PC, a challenge in itself as they recently informed me of delays due to a shortage of components. Watch this space and I hope to be back and creating pictures again soonish, shame I have missed the showcases. Love some of the latest pictures and I will get to voting.

Also the Gym sessions are going well and I am still on track with my weight loss, feeling much fitter and healthier.

Thank you Tder's
Take care - Stephen x

Just a note to tell all of you wonderfull T.D.ers that one of the joys of my life is my time spent here! My votes and submissions are sporadic due to the demands of my daily life & not my passion for TD and my good friends here!

Good to see you back, Steve! Hope your new system is working well.
I ve read about your Bells Palsy at your right side of face, and maybe it isnt cured entirely yet? I looked it up in Dr. Dahlke and it is very accurate, so I`ll post it in the Day and night channel, bc it shows a great chance of healing on your new way.

It is unlikely that I will ever regain functionality exactly as it was prior to the Palsy in my facial nerves. However almost a year later and I have most movement returned with only slight issues with kin-thesis occurring. Kin-thesis is where the nerves regrow but connect slightly differently, the effect is likened to a squint when smiling or some other minor cross wiring. Not serious and after months of facial paralysis not a concern. Weight loss since the gastric bypass (Sept 2011) is one hundred pounds almost exactly.

New computer system did suffer a setback when the Dell motherboard proved faulty and failed. Warranty covered repairs and the PC is fully functional now.

Minor health issues have prevented me from going to the gym recently but like I said this is a minor issue and a visit to the Doctor should resolve this problem. (Sorry bit personal for publication) laughing!

All in all things working out alright with only minor issues which so far are easily resolved, now to win the lottery find a beautiful single woman and live a long and prosperous happy fulfilled life whilst helping others and maintaining world peace.

No problemo!
xx
Stephen

This is a very good message, and fortunately, I think I can understand of what you are talking about. Glad to hear your great proceedings and the finished reset of your PC. So I hope all "minor issues" are changing to the "route of solving" as well. Best wishes!

PS: I know about the big efforts you have made, very well done! And my congratulation to your lottery win.

My current weight equals 301.2 pounds this in British stones is 21.7 total weight lost so far 117 pounds or 8.15 stones. My mini goal is 300 pounds my ultimate goal is 200 pounds or 14 stone. It's all on schedule and despite minor hiccups the weight is still being lost. General health is good, mobility good. Even started finally to look for work in my area of the U.K although this is a black spot for employment. One step at a time Stephen!

Is Think-Draw becoming a site where your pictures are voted on based on the quality and imagination used in it's creation. Or has it...In some cases become a popularity contest, where more popular members obtain votes based on the fact that they have more people following and voting for them. I do not wish to offend, I just wanted to raise a question. The current voting system is much better than the previous one. But personally I have found that other than the regular generous stalwarts who do note and comment on my pictures, I just do not seem to command many votes these days. Votes are the driving force behind my pictures because if they are not popular my enthusiasm and esteem suffers. I have recently been wondering if my input here is of worth to others any more.
