Please send your though to my mom, who broke her left arm on wednesday and now is bandaged and quite impaired...
She's a painter and a lovely person, 82 yr old, but very active, and now can't drive, go outdoor, make her tai chi and so on...
I'm expecially concerned for the mood, as being "closed in" at home could make her down, bc she lives alone, and quite far from me (I try to visit her as often I can, but it's not enough!).

look at her beautiful art and send light to her please!
(may be you have to go to the italian version for the links to work, go to "galleria" and click on the various areas)

Couldn't access that link clo. My heart goes out to your mom. I know what that closed in feeling is like especially when one cannot pursue any of their favorite activities. I'm hoping that she has friends close by who will visit and help her with meals.

Clo my sincerest and most heartfelt healing thoughts towards your Mother for her broken arm, I know how you feel my Mother fractured her wrist just before Christmas. I wish you and everyone on TD the greatest of wishes for this year 2012.

That was not the video I was aiming for ... I'll try again but can't see any error in the previous link.

The photography is beautiful, but her voice ... fantastic!
Sissel Kyrkjebø (Norwegian ; born 24 June 1969 in Bergen), also simply known as Sissel, she is a Norwegian soprano.

Thank you login, that was so beautiful! I had not heard Sissel before. What a wonderful talent she has!

Someone had sent me that gorgeous video - especially loved the Alpine scenes. Sissel was new to me and I loved her voice, though I'm NOT a fan of sopranos. However the Auld Lang Syne in Norwegian makes me long for the version in my tattered song book, received in my youth from an elderly Scots neighbor who could hear me play piano as she sat on her little front porch.
"And here's a hand my tursty freen' And gie's a hand o'thine,
And we'll tak' a right gude willy waught For auld landsyne."
Come to think of it, maybe the Norsk was easier to understand!

Now Ive seen the video. Thank you Login! Fantastic view of the mountains, and all other photography. I like this song (great voice, not really my timbre, but very strong expression) and I like the text on the New Year, which was shown, there comes a full heart with it.

I just have sent the link to Valerie. Im sure she`ll enjoy it too. There is somebody here, who gained an new "fan" recently ... only by some pictures and a little bit of telling, what her mom is doing in TD.

This is an update on my weight loss after Gastric Bypass surgery in September 2011, my heaviest weight recorded in 2011 was a staggering 418 Ibs (nearly 30 Stones). My most recent weigh in recorded 328 Ibs (23 Stones 4Ibs) so everything is on track. I recently joined my local fitness centre for supervised training this starts with an induction on Tuesday 21 Feb and then regular visits to the leisure centre for fitness training.

I have more energy and I am vastly improved regarding mobility, I recently discovered my neck which has always been there hiding, and some very old clothes are starting to fit me now. (Thank goodness for my hoarding).

I admit I have been pre-occupied and have not created many pictures since the Dragon showcase in January. But a lot has gone on and I will get back and do more pictures soon.

Think Draw is important to me and the people who frequent the forums and create the pictures are also very important.

Thank you...

A fantastic achievement, Steve. Good to hear you are on track and doing well. You even sound livelier and happier. We'll see you here whenever you have the time.

So glad to hear your proceedings!! A supervised training is a very good idea and the body will be very thankful for it. Keep on track! It is so important to do a regular training.
I am visiting twice a week a special training course bc of some problems of shoulder/neck and when I couldnt do it the last 3 weeks, it soon was getting worse.
So I am an "allied" in this matter (too). Sounds a bit like alien:)
