I 'll start by thanking again to Angelia and also by apologizing for taking so much time to think about the new challenge. So here's what I came up with: changing the perspective. Take any pic, yours or not, from TD or not as a model and draw the exact pic from a different point of view. (The only suitable example I can think of right now is Chelydra's collection of Madonna-s). Imagine a photo of a mountain taken from the valley. Now think of the mountain as seen from the top of another one. And finally: you're above the mountain on a plane, looking down on it!! Dizzy? Hope not! Good luck everyone!

Shanley, I love your challenges!
difficult one, but suggestive!

Thank you, Clorophilla. I try to make things as interesting as possible, but of course in the end it's all up to the artists. I've seen many apparently simple subjects morphing into precious pieces of art on TD. Hope to see many more.

I know this wasn't what you had in mind, and they're not eligible for this challenge really, but I guess if "point of view" is interpreted to include emotional & artistic points of view, the Munch Madonna series so far could be thrown in here too.

But this challenge is a good one, and I might try to compose an entry or two following the rules. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what five was up to until I saw this. (Most recently I mean; I often can't for other reasons!)

Here's an attempt to (sort of) meet your challenge:

no more brave TD-ers? what happened?

What happened here at least was the direct result of that ultimate 4-letter word: T I M E
...but I *love* this particular challenge, so I'll steal some and play pretty soon!

I can't possibly believe this is harder than mild cubism!

Here are a couple more for the challenge...

As for mild cubism, several false starts have nearly seen me give up on it!

This is where it gets confusing - for me, at least..

This is Marius' 'Waterfall' pic : http://www.thinkdraw.com/picture.php?pictureId=93776

and this is Qsilv's 'Marius' waterfall from inside its source' : http://www.thinkdraw.com/picture.php?pictureId=103697

and this is my interpretation of Qsilv's view of Marius' pic : http://www.thinkdraw.com/picture.php?pictureId=103893

NO!!!!!
(to giving up) (False starts are are big part of it, just keep going until they start to feel true.)

Well, if you insist, could send the hubby over, then. His 'busy valley' looks promising!
