Humm.. I just tried to do a sample pic, but you have to be a member of Facebook to contribute.. and us electronic lifeforms don't have a Facebook persona..

.. so, my wish is for silver/grey/black armour, a silver/grey/black sword, an ectomorphic silvery cloud (transparent).. and possibly some brown/grey/black bats !

.. .. and a return of that beautiful dark blue background..

love all the marg's ideas and the baldur's cloudy background. And I'd prefer the red in the middle.

What kind of time frame should we expect before receiving this new gift??? (my are we there yet moment)...

Its a good question, we may try and sort out the picture voting first so that it is ready for July. If that doesn't look like it will work out we can get 'Gothic' released first.

Thanks again for your contributions, is the armor an original picture of yours?

Oh goodness no... That was an example of what Marg was looking for... I'm sure we have someone in our circle that has the time to whip something up for us...

Thanks matthew, we will be able to make something similar. It is an excellent idea and example of it.

I'm definitively entusiastic about the armor stuffs!

.I have done quite a few gothic pictures. For me they are the easiest to do.but the only thing i would like to see TD do is make the shapes symmetrical and be able to rotate them more.More colors would be a nice touch. However I don't have any ideas for any new shapes.

Color: Oh, please add some color! The stained glass transparencies would be so lovely!
Shapes: double helix, S. Shiny armor bits would be fabulous.
Background: light blue preferably. And the storm would be fun.

I second all of Jennifk's motions!

I'm not hearing/seeing mention of yellow, but gothic stonework is full of golden hues, not just cold blue gray, and it's ubiquitous as background in stained glass.

A transparent yellow piece akin to that round one in Beads could be worked so many ways as over-layers and/or built up in density on it own.

Ummm.. do you mean a sort of yellow lichen-ised rust ? .. or are we talking about the golden light that should illumine the stonework of the good guys' castle ?

I actually think that something as warm as gold would totally change Gothic, as we know it.. but, hey, if you want to add that, why not just add it as a really thin (straight ?) necklace, that has to be built up to get a golden glow ?

Thanks TD for asking our suggestions re this. I would really appreciate a plain opaque light grey or cream shape (or at least a tiny part of the shape which is like this) to help cover up areas. Sometimes I've wished a Gothic shape to be a tiny bit smaller to fit in better or a tiny pit thinner at one end but there is nothing at present we can do about it but leave it as it is or just not do the design. I've been trying to do an eye thismorning and given up for this reason so I'd be very grateful if it can be considered. Thanks.

..tiny bit thinner I meant

marg et al --- I mean golden light. Yellow, white and black are unusual colors in their subtle effect on 2-D color palettes as a whole. Color wheels are so linear that they disguise this. But some color charts (mostly for printers and webmasters) are arranged to show a 3rd axis and seeing the accrual and diminishment of each primary is fascinating.

btw, marg --- your electronic lifeform could have its very own fb account ;>

whimper, hands held over face, ummm.. what's a fb account ?

[or do you mean 'FACEBOOK' ?? ..in which case, which face should an ELF present ? ]

Oh.. and awfully sorry Qsilv, but I honestly didn't understand what you said in your last post - is there some way that I can check out the whole linear / axis / etc. stuff ?

[..feeling rather thicko now.. ]
