Goodbye it was nice being able to draw here for a short time but have now decided to leave as nasty comments on pics at weekend and unintentionally doing wrong thing to someone I respected at TD - I no longer feel want to be here. I wish you all well with your wonderful pictures.

I haven't been around much the last month or two, but I definitely remember seeing your userid - and hopefully I commented on your pictures - but maybe I was just 'gonna', and missed yours, as I've missed so many others recently.

I think we've all had some nasty comments since we've been on TD, but the vast majority of us actually just love drawing and communicating, so hopefully you can get to the point we've all reached, and just ignore the stupid idiots.

The other thing is that comments, like emails, often get misinterpreted - mine frequently do - and so if someone's misunderstood your comment, a quick explanatory message normally resolves the problem (well, at least for the time being !).

I'd just recommend that you continue drawing - ignore all comments - and just enjoy the playground !

Spam, so sorry you are leaving, and that you deleted your drawings. I had the same thing happen, and at first deleted those pics with nasty comments. In fact I have deleted over 100 pics. I have also lost interest in drawing because of it. But, liking this site so much, I continue to draw, though not very much. I do hope you continue to draw, as your art was wonderful, and fun.

Like Marg says, we have to ignore those personalities, and continue our enjoyment! I hope you return with soon, and with attitude!! We will miss you.

They say 90% of being an artist is having self-confidence...I think that sums it up quite well. I didn't have the bad luck of nasty comments (yet!), but I remember I have felt down a couple of times over not capturing my ideas as good as I would have loved too...actually, I'm still not satisfied with most of my pics. However, i believe that given this case you really should try appreciating what is more important to you: creating on TD or feeling down over some foolish comments...I doubt very much that somebody who actually knows how much effort a 'normal' TD pic takes would ever disrespect another TDer with mean comments. So my guess is whoever commented on your pics in such a rude way is really not worth sacrifying your work....sorry you deleted them, as far as I noticed your evolution was promising very good things. Hope you'll find drawing more important than random non-sense said by somebody unable to understand any kind of values...(although I'd prefer to think the comments were made by a kid..)

Hi spam....I hope you come back to read these comments. I am so sorry you experienced some of the negative comments that we all open ourselves up to every time we submit a pic. I think I know which comment you are referring to and I remember at the time thinking "ouch, that was uncalled for". If you can possibly ignore that one individual, you can be assured that the rest of us very much enjoyed having you on TD.

Oh Spam, so sorry to see you go. If you read this, I hope you will reconsider and come back and play. While what you deleted will never come back, I hope you will and "with a vengence>" Whoever made the unkind remark (I hope it wasn't me, I sometimes think I may get taken wrong) is a butt and you should wipe the comment away and flush!

Spam, you will be missed. So very sorry that you experienced an "ouch" and hope to heaven I am not the guilty one. People speak quickly and may be just thoughtless of the effect. Others are intentionally mean and need to be studiously ignored. I, too, hope to see you here again.

I too hope you'll be back Spam, I hate seeing anyone driven away by small minded, childish people. If you do come back a get drawing again you can take heart in knowing that if someone leaves a mean or rude comment on one of your pictures you can ask Racheal to remove it, the Think Draw folks are really great about that sort of thing. Also remember for every rude kid out there who gets their jollies out of insulting others, there hundreds of us who love to see all art and don't want anyone to feel bullied.

If the comment I noticed on one of spams drawings is indeed the one that has driven her away....you ladies can all relax. Besides, I've never seen any of you leave a comment that could be misconstrued as mean or rude in any way!
Now if the individual in question would have followed their comment by an lol, we would probably not have need of this thread.

This is really getting me the blues for so many artists that left TD...Has anybody noticed that Chinky and IG didn't 'stop by' this month? Not to mention a4eka who hasn't been in here in three months now...:( I hope they were just busy and will come back soon.
