Okay. I smoke.

I know. It's terrible.

But I get so into ThinkDraw sometimes that I just had to create this thread.

So I'm reading the forums. Not even drawing. Just reading.

I reach over and blindly grab a smoke. I continue reading.

I reach over and grab my lighter. I bring it to my cigarette. I flick. Nothing. I flick again. Still nothing. I look close and it's not a lighter. It's a thumb-drive.

What has TD done to me?

I wasn't being sarcastic. I really don't know what a thumb-drive is. Is it what we in the UK call a memory-stick?

OK! I've just googled it. My guess was right ... a memory-stick. I know, I should have googled it before I asked.

thats not as bad as lighting the wrong end! I used to smoke and that was the worst.

First time I saw my little Sony 2 GB jump-drive that's just what I thought it was.... little slider button and all.

Opened my present... couldn't figure out why anyone would give me such a dumb gift!

a jump-drive? I call mine a flash drive, and sorry for the silly remark about cigarettes.. I meant that it seemed so long since I'd had one.. so I went out for a quick smoke straight after posting my remark !

.. and pollyesther.. the thought of trying to light the wrong end of your thumb-drive is too horrible to contemplate !

(mind you, I know some Brits fell over laughing when they first heard about 'hand-helds')
