I recently made a picture that I haven't submitted because I'm not sure that it's appropriate. It does depict part of a woman's body that is normally under wraps, but I'm not sure if kids would recognize it as such. It may be safest to just leave it out. What do y'all think? Are there any posted pictures of nudes of any kind? Is there a policy that I've skipped over? I don't want to offend anyone--I also want to keep the picture!

sootyunicorn, I have done several partial nudes that are copies of classical paintings, and no one has objected. Take a look at mine and decide if yours is more nude or less

if more than 3 people deem it to be unsuitable and hen report it it won't show in the gallery, but will still be in your gallery.

Mike, is that posted anywhere? I know one of Matthews had been banished, but all of mine are still up.

Thank you, Luna and likemee. Luna, yours are much more tasteful than mine. I think I'll just leave it off!

I got a comment on one of my pole dancing pics today, considering i have done several, and its an ongoing joke as are the thong pics, i was a bit surprised, but, i think ppl tend to just get the joke and move on.

Sootyunicorn, I've just been looking at your drawings for the first time, I'm totally impressed with the sketchy look!
I’ve really not been satisfied with the pale purple skin I’ve been limited to. You did something really different and very cool, kudos! You’ve got vision!
I hope you wont mind when I rip it off;-)

I got a "WTF" comment on my pole dancing pic, I was a bit surprised too considering mine even had clothes on (though I geuss she is grinding the pole pretty good!) I didn't think much of posting it as it is such a running joke.

likemee - that tidbit is fascinating! Thank you!

sooty et al - so far this place has been pretty tame, a la neopets, which keeps it comfortable, frankly. Without stringent Terms of Service, the internet's anonymity factor tends to release people's primal urges. Most of us just get used to it and ignore it, but plenty of folks don't --and don't.

Having said that, I'll just add that there's a lot more than private parts that'll shock some people. Beyond the shelter of TD, I've done a number of drawings of nursing babies... an astonishing (to me) number of viewers are uncomfortable with that. And one I did of an umbilical cord (which I titled Connections, and thought of as lyrically lovely) caused a couple of people I'd respected to become speechless and turn away. That was quite an eye-opener to me.
