Hi. I think the Showcase is fun ... with a theme, but I would like to see how many people would draw a specific item and the various ways and levels that would emerge. Just for fun, and this is not a request to add this to the Think Draw menu, but just a forum thing. I chose the Monarch Butterfly for my first request.

And what if we made it a game. If you participate, post the link here and I'll take a look at them all and then choose my favorite next Friday. The person who drew my favorite then gets to choose the next item for everyone to draw. Maybe we could shoot for this honor to change hands every Friday. If this doesn't work, I'll try to remember to suggest a new item myself.

I drew a SC state flag for the current showcase, and I loved seeing the other couple SC state flags that were drawn. I'd like to see more of this idea.

Are you saying that whoever does the monarch that you like best will then choose the subject for the next go-around or will the subject always be butterflies? This sounds like a fun thing.

Yes, I'll choose a drawing and the person who did that drawing can choose the next drawing and be the judge for it. I'm going to try to remember to post my selection next Friday morning, so have your pics in by then. I personally don't care if old drawings are thrown into the mix, but I'd need to know that person wants to "play" so they'll be around to choose the new topic. I'm happy to have some takers. Fun!

I worded that poorly. The person I choose will choose the new topic and it does not have to be butterflies. It can be whatever.
