Hey guys!!!! A fun place for all us middle schoolers to hang out without having to use kids corner, I will still stay on there to "make friends" but here is a place we can all hang and give tips... girls only please!!!

So i have a question first!!! What are some tips for decorating my locker? I am going for homemade and PLEASE no comments telling me to get a mirror- i am broke!!!
This is strictly easy magnets, and cardboard!!!!

I am many years out of middle school, but the girls always cut out cool pics from old magazines plastered the inside of their locker with teen boys & fashion pics in my day...

I think things like your BFF, or your crush. Maybe (when you are not broke) you could put things like a whiteboard to keep track of your assignments.

Ask your friends to draw you a picture on an small (4 x 6) paper and make a collage out of them. Or print some of your favorites from this site and put them up on your locker. Or, maybe some of the artist on here could make you a special one

Potatoes was the name of a middle school girl,
Who got a new locker, oh what a whirl!
Or was it a closet? We're really not sure,
But it needed decor, a certain allure.
Suggestions were slow but at last did unfurl,
With ideas aplenty for the middle school girl.

We thought of spaghettis and dried green peas,
Of old forty-fives and Aunt Ruby's knees,
Of satin-y curtains with bright colored beads,
Of oatmeal and bike wheels and decorative weeds.
We thought of photos of all her delights,
Of pet monkey, Patty, and Japanese kites,
Of doodles and drawings and notes to self,
Of Kingdoms and gold and the usual wealth.
But alas we were stumped when potatoes said,
"You all are silly, I'm going to bed!"

or tinsel or lights?

You could drape it in garland,
or fill it with mice.
You could recreate Holland
Windmills might be nice

Or try to go Nascar
with a big crooked 3.
Maybe posters of JarJar
or a potted oak tree.

Print photos from Facebook
stick up fuzzy toy bunnies,
Go goth with fake cobwebs
or piles of fake money.

You might even try
To cover that nasty blank wall there
With your favorite idol
The Radio Host, Baldur.

Right back at ya potatoes ... and will you give us a full and exquisitely detailed description of said locker when decorations are completed? Am suddenly most interested in this. Am going to ask my 6th and 7th grade grand kids about their lockers. Will let you know.

well, me and my friend have almost all different classes. the little vents in the locker are just the right size for notes. we put decorated boxes as mail boxes behind the vents for these notes.

In the back i have a picture of a dinosaur my friend drew me (dino's name is timmy)

Right on the door i have matthews bobby jack picture and a mirror.

at the bottom i am going to add the poems. i also got magnetic frames, and put pictures in them. I am going to have the pictures holding everything on the door, like fridge magnets.

I took a green and blue wrapping paper and made wall paper. I also have these little word magnets that say things like "They" And" "so" Tottally" "me" "he" "she" "they" "friend" "need", etc. to make little sentences!

My mirror has this little layer on top of it so you can use it as a whiteboard, and look at yourself, AT THE SAME TIME!!!

My locker is AWESOMENESS!!! I am going to enter it in the best dressed locker competition, keep you posted on the scores of that!!!

Your locker does sound Awesome indeed! Is there actually a locker competition? How fun! And ... why didn't you put Aunt Ruby's knees in there? Seriously? hehehe

your funny! Ya, there is a competition. We need to be able to describe our inspiration for our lockers, any help?

By "inspiration" do you mean a theme? When reading your description of your locker ... I got the feeling of joy.

Also delight, fun ... but the overall feeling was joy. Joy of living? Joy of life? Joy of being yourself? Joy of decorating your locker?
