I left a message on her last pic. Have been wondering about her too.

Robin, you're absolutely right--I did mean 11 November, and goofed up. I do hope solo cruises by soon and lets us know all's okay. It's been way too long that we haven't heard a peep from her.

Solo, you may be too busy or perhaps the shenanikins of some of the children was a bit off-putting. Whatever the reason, if you look in please just give us a sign that you're OK.

Maybe solo has simply kicked the habit.

lol Login--those of us currently addicted at least aren't seriously harming ourselves. Or are we??? (smiley face)

No sheftali, certainly not harming ourselves ... although TD has become a habit. Not a habit I want to kick ... I want to play here until the cows come home.

Right now the dryness of the air is bothering my sinusii.
We do have a humidifier but going outside it's terribly dry.
People out this way get nosebleeds frequently in the winter because of it.

Sorry for that, having a little Monty Python flash back just then.

I'm good though since you all were wondering. It's funny how when you sleep like a normal person and are able to get out and such that you just don't spend much time on the computer. Or at least that has been my experience lately.

Also it actually takes my poor old ThinkPad forty minutes to boot up and get ready to so anything so by the time it's up I'm gone.

I've recently learned to crochet so I'm using that as a creative outlet these days and actually have something to show for my time so that's nice too.

My girlfriend who taught me is quite funny, she learned from her mother in law just the very basic stitches and uses them for everything and does beautiful work too. The first time I went back to her place after she showed me how to start I started teaching her new stitches and patterns. Now we have weekly crochet dates where I teach her what I've been working on. She's way faster than me but not as confident I think so doesn't try new things on her own.

I've been thinking about returning to my writing as well but with this old computer it is more frustrating than fun or therapeutic really and I could use my parents computer but as my mother is an ADD carrier and is home all the time now I don't care for that option either.

So yeah, I'm good but busy and gone more than before. My online life kinda' got put on the back burner. I'll likely leave it there for a while and just stir the pot here and there.

I hope you all are well too. Did I miss anything major?

YOU MISSED BEADS: THE NEW THEME.
It's good to go out, to crochet, etc. but you can come back every now and then and draw something for us.... I DO REMEMBER YOUR CURVATIOUS YOUNG LADIES in their sexy dresses!!!

Thanks for looking in, solo. It's good to know you're well.

Beads has been very popular and some excellent drawings have been created from it. That makes choosing favourites extra difficult.

Did you know the voting system has changed. It's now based on the new 'favourites' system, combined with 'most ratings'. Most of us are glad that 'highest rated' is a thing of the past. That was the one that caused all the agro.

Good to hear from you again Solo, excellent Monty Python reference btw. If you ever have a chance to see Spamalot you should go, it starts out with a musical number based on the 'I'm not dead yet' scene.
As for new stuff we can also keep up to date on who's been commenting on our work with the Updates feature, and we can follow people if we like- TD will notify us when the people we are following have drawn a new picture in our updates section.
