I just started Think Draw several days ago. I deleted another game I spent too much time on, but now found TD. I can't stop, hoping it is just because I am new at this and that is what happens. Did this happen to anyone else? Please advise, thanks

Yes and no...the first few days you spend all hours of the day and night searching, discovering and playing. Then it gets a *little*less. I initially played with the different themes and experimented, which resulted in a lot of pictures in little time. Now I mainly check if my "old" stuff has gotten any new votes/comments and check the forums and gallery. I draw when I have an idea. A few days ago I did 4 or 5 in one day, and nothing really since then except the non-smoking sign for a member. Guess it goes in waves. Look at me, talking like an oldtimer and I haven't even been here a month yet LOL

Thanks Kugusch for making me feel sane. I will be taking a break for a few days, and maybe I got the need to do it all the time out of my system. I also keep checking for votes and comments, probably too much. Thanks for taking time out of your day to respond.

You're definitely not the only one, zeksam - I think most of us have OD'd at one point or another - this one from Ron is an example :

I've been here a pretty long time, and for me it does go in waves.
Sometimes real life is a vortex and I just have nooo time, other times it's stuff like TD that keeps me sane enough to deal with it!

Also, sometimes I've got drawing ideas of my own I just want to explore, other times I'm drawn in (eh, pun, sorry) by a forum challenge --or the discussions themselves.

I like your work, Zeksam... it's lyrical and bright, and I hope you do keep coming around.

Too right, matthew ... and I've got seven more fingers to wear out before I can call it a day.

Thanks to everyone to wrote back to answer my question. I am going to have to start writing down ideas to draw, and get to them when I can. I tend to go all or nothing with things, TD just proves it again this is true!
By the way, another question, how do you put a picture of your work onto a forum discussion, like it has been done here?

What I do is just open the picture, select & copy the address (shown in the browser) and then paste it into the forum comment - the thumbnail magically appears when you post the message !

Thanks Marg! I tried that, but I can only "select all" Is there a way to only select one picture. Maybe it is just my computer. Thanks

Zeksam, the address of each individual drawing appears at the top of your screen when you open the picture you want. The address starts http://www.
Highlight the whole address and then copy. You can then paste it into the 'add reply' box in Forum and the picture will automatically appear. Good luck.
