Eliza, in order to issue a challenge, you have to win a challenge. There are usually a couple running at the same time. They are a fun way to push yourself and learn from the difficulty and from what others are able to accomplish.

Give it a try.

Eliza, the only challenge running at the moment is the Mugdots Challenge CXXX (130): Sepia Colors. It just started and will end March 13th. The challenge is to do what ever you want in Sepia colors. Click on the URL below and it will take you to the topic in Community, it will give you some examples of past works here in TD. To post a picture to the challenge, you copy the URL of your picture and paste it to the "add reply" at the bottom of the page (the same as you did here). Your picture will show up after you post your message.

There is a FAF (Free Association Friday) challenge that is fairly new but has floundered recently. Someone needs to jump in and start it up again. Post your picture on Friday to respond to this. Go to this URL in the Community Forum http://www.thinkdraw.com/forumPosts.php?topicId=1533&s=0 and read the first post as well as a few others to see how it works. Then go to the last page to see what the last response was and make your picture using an association of that picture or title of that picture. Have fun. When naming your picture, put FAF: then your title so we will know it is in the challenge.

Eliza, let me back up. I searched your user name and see that you have no pictures posted yet. Click on Draw and create a picture in one of the eleven pallets (Valentines, Flowers, Space, etc.), using the bits and pieces of that pallet. Once your picture is complete, click on Submit. On that page, you can name the picture and post it. It will show up in the Gallery. At that point if it is a picture that is for one of the challenges you can post it using the info in my above response. If it is for the running Showcase theme (ThinkDraw's challenge), you can click the "add to showcase" button under your picture on your page. Play around with it and you will see how it works. Please do not put anything in the ThinkDraw showcase if your picture does not have anything to do with the current theme. Currently the theme of it is EARTH. Now go make some pictures and have fun!

Oh, and to vote on pictures, you must respond to the e-mail that TD sent you when you signed up.
