Well after having a day to ponder your comments, I think if you put a website in your profile it would indicate that it is a real website. I checked approximately 10 other TD artist and none of then list websites. So why would you add a false statement on your profile? You also apparently want approval for your art or you would not have stated this forum for feedback on why your pictures are removed from TD. You want other artist to say they approve and from what I have read here they don't. I think we all should draw and have fun and try not to offend each other. You have been on TD for a number of years and just recently started with this 23 ex-wife thing.

PLEASE I'm Afrikaans speaking and may use the wrong words - try to read it correctly.

Sakari - as I understand it, this is an open account, can be used by any one as long as the present user log out. You can find the details somewhere on the forums. The difference in style is obvious.

Now! I came to the conclusion that our present artist on this account is very well informed and have a very good understanding of ThinkDraw. He knew just where to look for pictures and his statement that there is no guidelines for TD tells me he follow the forums for a very long time. If he really want's to draw he will open an account under his own username but this is a way to stay anonymous and annoying everybody else. To get 12 anonymous votes on one picture is a little much to swallow - so I think these votes were created AND he knew how to do it.

Is he still or was he a member with a different account - I will say yes. He's writing style reminds me of previous conversations. If any one is serious about what he's doing, he won't ask people to respond.

If only the voters will leave a comment with there vote we can determine how many people like this.

By the way - how did he knew where to find this account. It was created in the very beginning of TD - years ago. Even I did not know about it. It was created for multiply people to draw on the same picture - clever idea but not to good use.

Lolla, I’m pretty sure that I know who the regular TD user who has started using the ThinkDrawUS profile is. I’ve doubted his credibility under his regular profile for quite a while, along with some of the other accounts he regularly uses. It has saddened me to see this person misusing the voting system to boost his own pictures, especially under a number of usernames in recent times, and it saddens me even more that he’s betraying the trust of people who are taking his profiles at face value.

To the person concerned…

I've been thinking while watching your carryings-on, that lack of respect is your biggest problem. Respect for the people here and for the nature of this website, but mostly lack of respect for yourself. I don’t know what your motivation is; in fact I can’t even begin to understand that, but you really can’t be feeling too good about what you’re doing with your disrespectful names and comments being left on other people’s pictures, or the way you’re cheating with the votes. It’s not clever or funny to be rude and demanding, and if you’re getting Top 5s by cheating… well, you may be fooling the rest of the TD community, but you’re not fooling yourself, and really… does it make you feel good?

You’re right… ThinkDraw doesn’t have a stated policy on what is or is not acceptable. It’s the sort of site where most people just respect others and do the right thing without that having to be spelled out for them. It’s full of decent and lovely people, and while the occasional bad apple comes in to spoil things sometimes, usually they just realise that this isn’t the place for them and they leave again. I’ve been resisting saying anything here because I haven’t wanted to encourage you in your little dramas, but what you’re doing is spoiling this site for too many people, and you’re really not doing yourself any favours either.

The people here are good, decent folks, as well you know from the way they treat you under your longstanding profiles. Treat them right. Stop cheating. Stop being rude. You’ll feel better for it.

Good on you, mum23..

The thinkdrawus account was created for fun (by a TD artist), to allow everyone to create pictures / edit shared draft pictures / post a 'whodunit' picture, etc. (this was when people could vote down drawings through spite). Unfortunately, it was misused right from the start, which is why thinkdrawus doesn't have a vote - or at least couldn't vote down other people's pictures.

We used to have a lot of stress on ThinkDraw with some individuals posting either stupid, offensive pictures or stupid, offensive comments - some of them pretty violent/vicious/obscene. I personally think the best idea is just to ignore any comments left on your own pictures (or ask Rachel to remove them) and mark as offensive any deliberately silly and offensive pictures.

Anyone who has been told multiple times by the whole TD community to straighten their act up or get out, really should do one or the other.

Since whoever is using thinkdrawus has to be a long-standing member, mum23 probably does know who it is and Rachel will definitely know, so perhaps we can ask Rachel to close that account and force everyone to login under their own account (or in this case, one of their accounts) ?

I am simply pondering the idea to why my pictures are "offensive" yet I listed many that are also considered offensive and they received no penalties. I see a double standard on this site. And for clarification, I don't even know how one can cheat on this site so being called a cheater doesn't really make sense. I am not being rude to anyone either. All I do is make the pictures. And since there is no policy or guidelines, I have the right, (as does everyone else), to make and produce whatever art I please.

To ThinkDrawUS, Okay, I can see that being polite hasn't worked with you. So here it is in plain language. The pictures you find offensive are art. Well drawn, in good taste or they would have been removed. Your pictures are offensive and dumb. I may not be speaking for everyone, but from what I have read it is the popular opinion. That is why your pictures have been removed and the others have not been removed. I hope this clears everything up for you.

Lolla and Mum23 I did not know anyone could us ThinkDrawUs, thank you for the information.

To sakari, in plain language, my pictures, which you seem to find offensive is indeed art. These pictures below are absolutely offensive and if you think these are art, then you need to reevaluate your definition kid.

Marg,

just want to add my +1 on everything you said. Freedom (of expression and of everything else) comes with responsibility and using one's common sense to adjust to the context.
I've had too much of a busy time lately and coming back on TD to at least see what other artists have been up to lately and finding this whole mess, has been somewhere between annoying and exhausting. I am here to free my mind and relax and I think we all are. So going into a debate on somthing totally out of scope, it's something I'm simply not willing to do.
So here's my two cents on the whole situation: going back to art and away from the drama has and will always work.

We all had our share of excitement, the first since the passing of Fun Tuesday. Maybe it's a good thing to be waken and shaken once in awhile.

I want to apologize for the nasty things I said - I believe you (TDUS) are a very nice person with a wonderful talent and that all was meant as a joke. I certainly can see the humor in it all - it just cut to close to the bone.

Hope you spent Christmas with at least one of the wives (no. 24??) or with some of the children. MERRY CHRISTMAS!! ...... from auntie Lolla , ....... kid.

55. 17 Dec 2015 04:12

ThinkDrawUS

I accept your apology Lolla. And I apologize to you as well if I came off as rude. One of my many passions in life is to make people smile. Yes my marriages were real, I wanted to show people a side of reality mixed with humor. Its my expression. And yes Lolla, I try to spend Christmas with all of my children. Most are grown now with their own lives so it can be a challenge at times. And as of now, I am working on wife 24. I am planning on proposing to her very shortly. Merry Christmas to you as well kid.

Not many people understand the difference between humor and a joke. Humor is so much deeper and most of the time it is a real situation that turns out to be funny. In my counseling days I would never end a session unless the person have a good laugh at himself.

I wish you luck with no. 24. May this be the real deal. I have as many married years -55 - behind me, as you have wives. Are we hoarders of some kind .....?
