Hopefully I peaked a bit of curiosity with the word Chiaroscuro. If you aren't familiar with it is the high contrast, single source of light drawing that emphasizes shadows, graduated shading and a illuminated subject.

When I was handed the baton for this challenge my heart leaped. 125 - has been a special number in my life (see explanation on the last Mugdots) I considered something like the love of a baby or first personal love, but then thought are and my first "adoration" of art which were the chiaroscuro Rembrants:

I got things rolling thus far, but have a question on handing off the baton when this wraps up. Is it just based upon what I choose, or current ratings or how should this be done?

This is the hardest part as there is so much here I love:
Priya41, you got to the heart of what I was hoping for with your amazing shimmer and therefore I declare you the winner. However, I must also mention the truly magical creativity in the others here. The reverse shadow, the edge of candle light and the blue reflections in Mystery Light - all amazingly wonderful. Thank you all for your efforts.

Ooooh!!! thank you Fangzzz, for passing on the baton to me! i really did not expect i would be the winner ) ! But, just as much as i am delighted i feel sorry and disappointed that i will not be able to carry on the baton !!! i have some family gatherings at home and may not be able to draw on TD for a while. ( My married daughter is visiting us after a long time) ) And it would not be fair to just hold on.......would you please select a second winner so that there will not be a gap....thank you again Fangzzz!! So this becomes completely easy as Bugoy1 hands down has risen (whether he wanted to or not - nudge, nudge) to the chiaroscuro challenge.

Potato Eaters: has a) silhouette b) point of focus light c) graduated color shading - and by heck I just really find it "fine" art. Think this must have been destiny.
