Thanks Q for the Baton. Keeping with piece selection limitations ...

(1) Start your drawing with any piece in any palette

(2) Then, for the next piece in your drawing, move clockwise or counter-clockwise one piece and so forth.

(3) You can changes size of pieces.

(4) Extra points if the theme of your drawing is moving in time or space (but not essential)

Good luck.

I'll pick a baton catcher on March 3 (my dad's birthday)

...well I *think* I followed the instructions... but....

(Actually I'd expected it to come out kinda cubist. Nope. five's five and Q's Q.) ;>

I remember a similar think for a FT - drawing without swiching the bits and with the repeat button de-selected...
this offers some more chance, it seems funny!

Not sure I'm getting the rules - "moving to the next" means the next pile of possibilities? Not the next shape in the original pile?

Is the repeat button set so we keep coming back to the same selections? Or are we leaving it off and forced to use whatever then shows up?

Man, I thought the previous two challenges were hard!

Oh dear. Not as easy to follow as I might have wished.

Moving to the next means the next pile of possibilities, not the next shape in the original pile. So in animals, if you started with the dog leg the next pile clockwise would be the pig face. Then you could go to he pink rooster crown or bag to the dog ear if you set the repeat or to a new dog ear if you did not set the repeat.

You don't need to set the repeat button. I did not on the one I did, so each time I got to a pile again, it was a new piece with in that pile's set of possible pieces.

You don't need to lay the pieces down in the drawing clockwise or counter-clockwise. That is just for selecting the piece.

Hope that helps. Anyhow, if I have other gaps or confusions, ad lib

"bag" = "back" (egad typos)

So we can click the Repeat at any moment or remove it whenever.
We go to a new pile each time, but can go back to one we've just done.
Presumably we're not allowed to rotate except as it occurs via the
Repeat or No Repeat. Think I've got it, but how the heck can anybody
tell whether we're doing it or not? The replay goes too fast, but presumably we are all honest, if confused! Thanks, five.

Yes honor code. But that's okay because we are upstanding here on TD.

Well done Q -- and I spy a little cubism in there. But maybe that's the way I see everything

I was so busy trying to remember where I had just been, that I forgot all
about using the Repeat button! Maybe I'll try again.

ok... I'm really liking the effect of cathy's... and I've got an idea for one that may do triple duty (Mystery, Wild, Moving Stations). All's I've gotta do is sprout a couple more hours in the day...

MEANWHILE--
Here's a slightly different way of explaining the rules on this one that MIGHT help (or just make me look like a complete idiot)--

It finally dawned on me that you don't have to keep going through the whole palette... you can just pick TWO pieces (but they have to be NEXT to each other) and keep swapping back'n'forth between them...

Add a third piece and you can swap back'n'forth through all three ...but like the old game of Telling Secrets, you have to go THROUGH the middle person/piece.

So it all comes down to one principle --no jumping over any of the positions!

It's a snake, not a pogo-stick! ;>

lol, Q thanks for translating Looking forward to the triple threat.

Great sense of gravity/weight in Normal's and Cathy's latest entries, in different ways.

Also like that Cathy has a representational entry, too.

Keep 'em coming.
