it was a similar challenge some time ago: drawing the same subject of another artist, BUT using different palette. It was a great challenge, fun and enlighting! |

I read that challenge clorophilla, and it looked like people had a lot of fun with it, but some did not like the idea of copying other's work, which is understandable. Without having experienced it, I also think it would be interesting to see how others interpret your work or your subject. |

I'm fascinated by the discussion of how ideas get going in different people. Often, you can tell by the playback, that the original idea led to something quite other. At times, I wish the artist had stopped just THERE, instead of adding more and going in another direction. But it's their creation, not mine and I just enjoy the process! |

I think the first TDer to copy a someone else's drawing was mekeys. He copied my 'Rocky Mountain High'. I was flattered. |
