Hi! First, thanks for following me.
I don't have a lot more to say than what has already been said, but all I can recommend is that if you want more physically accurate drawings, to use a picture (from the internet, maybe?) as a base and for proportions.
As a TD veteran myself (I am among the oldest TDers, on a previous account named GOLDIEGIRL8) I have learned so much from experience, and also from playbacks, and the kind people here's guidance.
Off on a tangent here, but does matthew still go on? I remember on my old account, as a naive young TDer, matthew helped me and encouraged me a lot.

Drawing tips are easy - click on a picture you like and then watch the playback [the little arrow in a circle under the pic] - but note that the playback does NOT show the real layering or sequence.
When I first started, it actually took me ages to work out how to change the size of all the bits, so you're already doing well.
Only other thing I would suggest is to keep doing what you like - we're all here because we love it, basically - and we're also pretty fond of every other TDer, too

Hiya LaCasa [aka-Lucy]..
Things are a bit quiet on the Thinkdraw [TD] site at the moment, but there's always room for new TDers
The Gallery is where every picture is shown - great for getting a feel of things and some wonderful stuff appears in the Gallery !
The Showcase differs every few weeks or so - the idea is that you focus on a particular subject that someone (anyone) has suggested and draw a picture that fits in with the theme - alas, a lot of newbies think that they have to add their pictures to the showcase, so you get a lot of non-topical stuff.
Of course, a lot of 'experienced' TDers also add any picture they do to the Showcase, as it gives them more exposure
