Congrats on your top 5 by the way - you see all your angst was for nothing.

I'm sure I wasn't the only one that wondered if you were joking. I'm glad you cleared that up. Anyway it was meant for anyone that might find it helpful.

Thanks for the sentiment Dmarla, but I was joking. I try not to be serious on here.

I decided to post these links and anyone can just pass them by if it isn't something they are interested in. I don't know what I will title it yet but it will be in the links section.

Puzzler, you'd be surprised how many here feel the same way you do that we have little or no friends. I was so depressed Saturday for this same reason. Just think of it, most of us spend a lot of time on here. I have no family I can turn to. I go to church and everyone is too busy to get together with anyone. Our church realizes that this isn't right so they are working to change this. In the bulletin this Sunday the pastor wrote that depression is the same in Christian circles as the unchurched except for the Amish community. The only exceptions, those that do form strong relationship, are are those that are involved in worship service teams. I am not well so that is out and resides I don't have service type gifts to offer even if I do get well. So I was feeling like I was getting no where, feeling stuck, and depressed big time. Then Sunday the pastor talked this very thing and said our church was going to work to change this. We all held hands, lol, yah I know it is kind of symbolic but it still made me feel much better to know that this is going to be the major goal of our church to bring this about. I'm reading a book on this very thing. I don't know if any information on this would help anyone but I could post a few things in the links section if anyone wanted me to. Those that aren't interested could just pass it by.
