Baldur's monitor is failing rapidly, and the screen gives everything a decidedly pink cast. It is loads of fun looking at the gallery this way, ut drawing is a nightmare.

With the screen malfunction these candy pieces have lost all of their brown overtones and are absolutely jet black now. In a sense this works like a different color filter

It looks great - even without the rose colored monitor! ;)

LOL, thank you Baldur, for the best morning smile I have had in a long time and for an idea that I would like to steal for FT.

There really is a kettle that calls the pot black! Funny:)

Always pointing the finger - that old pot. And whatever do you mean by "brown overtones?" Never seen such myself.

At least on my computer the piece of candy that looks like a black jelly bean (brit.=jelly baby) has a definite brown hue. This was mostly notable when Baldur tried compiling a bunch of them to make an expanse of blackness.

You certainly may have the concept Lizzi, and take it with you.

Thanks, and yes, the jelly bean has a brownish cast.

If we took a negative of this picture, would the pot be calling the kettle white?
13. Baldur wrote:
um, no. It would be a white pot calling a white kettle 'black' albeit in a white font on a black ground.

At first I read comment number 1 (without glasses on) as "my mother is failing rapidly" and while wondering what to say I looked again and saw "monitor". So p[lease convey to your mom my relief and cheerful best wishes!
