Brilliant idea Steve even if I suggested it - I hadn't thought of TDer's creating story lines but could just imagine them actually in print as a series of children's books cos the colours are appealing and the little (may I call them that) characters are so wonderful. Haven't been around much last couple of days hope someone starts the ball rolling!

Sorry meant to start with that pic. I'll give the tile and first little bit then think people should add on by using a separate pic each time.

Title: Sir Bugalot and His Encounters.

Sir Bugalot set off on his travels sitting astride his trusty steed Mighty One. He had to travel many miles across treacherous terrain and he knew that along the way he would come across many critters. He would have to learn to deal with these but he had no fear. He was brave as long as he on Mighty One!

"Help, save me", was the distant cry of a desperate creature, luckily it fell on the ears of the one being powerful enough to save her! 'SIR BUGALOT' fighter of evil and injustice and defender of the weak and helpless, his faithful steed 'Mighty one' quivered his mandible as Sir Bugalot drove him toward the sound of the hapless insect in need of help. "It is as I feared Mighty One, tis a mighty and terrible foe indeed that hath ensnared it's prey", Bugalot raised his lance up high and shouted out loud "Have no fear Sir Bugalot is here!"

I will be adding more pictures, I might try to illustrate some of the ideas, if possible and where permitted, so this might be interesting, also each picture I will add to the creepy crawly showcase, might as well try for the votes as well, looking forward to reading and seeing what you guys come up with. Also try to keep continuity with the story line it would be nice to get a cohesive story going with pictures. (PS) if any one publishes any of this I want a good percentage , lol

Just so you know, steve, this is NOT being ignored... yes it IS an interesting idea... and I'm likely to contribute eventually myself, if/when I can pry the fingers of Real Life loose from my throat here. Meanwhile I assure you, plenty of us will be sneaking in for a quick, quiet grin at what YOU'RE creating!

Bugalot dug his heels in and charged the beast, aiming his sharp lance at the creatures beating heart. Upon seeing Sir Bugalot it reared up on it's hairy legs dripping fangs ready to envenom Sir Bugalot, it's soul-less eyes fixated with hate. Bugalot dodged one clawed leg, then another, venom spat at his armour hissed on contact, then with a sickening crunch; Bugalots lance pierced the tough hide of the beasts torso and tore apart the beating heart of the fearsome creature, killing it instantly...

A mighty cheer went up for the victorious Sir Bugalot! The townsfolk would no longer live in fear of the wicked, wicked beast! But wait! What was that clicking sound??

The clicking noise was coming from his trusty steed 'Mighty One' it was trying to warn Bugalot that his time was drawing near, as a soldier ant he must report to his Queen immediately. Sir Bugalot turned towards the north and looked toward home. "Is it time, doth her Majesty truly summon Sir Bugalot?, prepare faithful steed for we have many leagues of ardent travel ahead!" With supplies from grateful insects loaded, Sir Bugalot
travelled forth.

Meanwhile back in the royal court of Queen Antonia III the courtiers and servants had briefly left her majesty alone, she had a lot on her mind these days, what with her kingdom under attack from the anteaters and that is just one menace amongst many threatening her stable existence... Oh where is the loyal and brave 'Sir Bugalot' we really need his help.
