once in a while i when i make a comment on a pic, i notice something that i said that either makes no sense or may be taken wrong. I do try to choose my words carefully, but i am crazy so that doesnt always work=P it would be great to be able to revise or delete a comment previously submitted |

I sympathise with you, pollyesther. I find it is too easy for me to sound haughty or miffed, when taking somebody else's comment the wrong way, or even when just quipping at somebody else's drawing. However, imagine the chaos it would cause in the counting system ... and the following outrage when somebody's tally of comments goes down. Let's not go there. |

oh, I dunno.. editing a comment might be too hard, but I think a lot of people would at least like to delete one ! |

Too right! I would delete more than one. But when the comment is for somebody else's drawing, to remove comments would cause some people to get upset by the 'comments blitzer'. |

You could only remove your own. Don't know if it's necessary, if I need to correct or restate, I just add another comment. |

hmm, Login.. what or who is the 'comment blitzer' ? |

There isn't one, marg. I'm just saying that if I could remove some of the comments that I wish I had not made on other peoples drawings, I could become the (mythical) 'comment blitzer'. |

There was a typical example. You seem to have taken my first comment the wrong way, marg. Perhaps I have an awkward way of putting things. Sorry. |

A fairly common feature in forums is a Preview Post window --for some reason it really does help you see what you just wrote a bit differently BEFORE you hit 'yes I really mean this please submit it to the world at large and posterity forever". |

Hey, Login.. no, no.. having comments censored by TD is one thing, but removing your own is like deleting your own pic (which I do a lot). |
