I, too, have lost family members to breast cancer and lung cancer. I cannot tell you how sorry I am to hear about your mother. Just know that my prayers are with you and your family.

Matthew, I can't find words to comfort you in this tragic moment and express how sorry I feel. I tried to draw - for you and your mom

You're right matthew, too many people don't want to talk about it.

Are they scared? It won’t keep it from happening to ignore it.

Are they just too "proper" to discuss such things? It can and does happen to people from all walks of life (women and men) and nothing and no one is immune, it just is.

I'm so sorry it has hit your family so hard. I can only imagine what you must be going through with your mother and, knowing what you do now, your wife and daughters, sisters and friends.

Please know that we are all here for you as much as can be and don't think we don't want to hear it, what ever you need to say, whatever is on your mind please don’t hide from us.

That goes for midnightpoet and jmdx3mom and or anyone else who needs to unload their burden.

Oh, Matthew, I am so sorry. How hard. How sad. Two members of my family have had breast cancer; one survived; one did not. I continue to pray for you all. May you stay firmly in the arms of the Comforter.

1st... Thanks for the kind words... They mean a lot...

Mother is still inches away from death... Recovery at this point would be equal to raising the dead... I know a God with that power...

That said, Take her or raise her... The suffering sucks...

Yes M, the way some linger & in so much pain- but we know so little of what God may be doing with Randi right now in a very personal way. I have been with 2 people as their loved ones crossed into new life. God is so good. Just assure your mom of your love(as I'm sure you've done) & that it will be a life continued by her. I do believe we will be reunited by & with God. Bless you & yours, & may time be your friend.

Matthew, just got back in town and so sorry to find out things with your Mom are not looking so well. Like all those above, I have added you and your family to my "prayer box."
