Recently, I thought I would draw a New Year card for TD friends, but when I click on draw, I get all the themes on the left, and the new pictures on the right...but no bits! What happened? My computer is acting a little funny but this is weird. Any suggestions?

Wish I could help but I'm not computer savvy. Have you asked Rachel? I hope you can find a solution and join us again. Miss you!

I like Lizzi's title so I'll add my 2 bits here--

Bit 1. -- In my experience, weirdnesses like Lizzi describes are common in Windows (which, yes, I do run even tho' Apple tends to be more stable --Apple fans please don't flame me here), and the Hail Mary for 'em is simply to reboot.

Ideally you clear your cache first or get someone to kindly do it for you. And if you're doing games and graphics, odds are you ought to reboot Windows at LEAST daily.

Non-ideally (aka Panic-mode) is often amazingly well resolved by a "cold boot" --pressing down on your power button for about 6 seconds 'til you hear a tiny click and the thing shuts itself all the way OFF! (Less than 6 usually just puts it into sleep mode w/o fixing anything and it wakes up with tangled hair and an even grouchier attitude.)

Wait half a minute, press the power button to turn it back on, and it will give you a set of choices in little white letters like stars in a night sky -- just tell it to resume normally for now. (Tapping your Arrow keys lets you move up or down to your chosen line, then hit your Enter key to make it so, Captain.)

You can let it scan your drives if you want, but honestly, it takes more time and if the results were going to mean anything to you, you wouldn't be doing it this way anyhow, right? And you KNOW why it crashed just now --YOU held the power button down! ;>

Bit 2. -- New discovery for ME today: I put 4 hours into a triptych of pink-coats-as-social-commentary, opened another tab to check something else --and came back to the TD tab to find the drawing... *e*m*p*t*y*............

Word to the wise-- don't do that (opening another tab) without saving TD first. Sheesh.
