Baldur

Hello, Baldur here
Is anyone one else getting frozen out of 'Gothic'?
I just tried twice to do a drawing there and both times after about 3 minutes everything on the drawing screen froze. The mouse was fine as I tried accessing other functions on the menu bar.
After trying to wait it out I eventually exited and started over.
I have contacted Rachel but am just wondering if this is only happening to me.
Thank you

I just did a test pic in Gothic and it worked okay for me.

I've been having this problem off and on the last few days. The first couple of times it was in 'Beads' but it's also happened in 'Fruit', 'Flowers' and just now in 'Faces'.

It doesn't seem to be time dependent... just now when it happened I hadn't even picked up one piece, yet other times it's been anywhere up to ten minutes into a drawing. It doesn't happen every time either. I find that my browser (Firefox) completely freezes up. I can still work on everything else on the computer, but there is nothing I can do with the browser except by forcing a shutdown via task manager.

Thought it was just me, though I've checked that I have the latest versions of everything, but Baldur's problem sounds similar. Any thoughts?

I have since been successful in completing a picture. 'Fortuny' took about 10 minutes, no problems with 'freeze-up'
It is encouraging that it is not just my computer

I was also having problems with Firefox freezing a few days ago at the same time I couldn't get PB to work. I had to force a shut down too as nothing would work. I just assumed it was related to the fact PB wasn't working properly as I haven't tried making a picture for a week or more.
I briefly tried using IE instead but still had problems with PB not working. I didn't use it long enough to notice any freezing problems so maybe its confined to Firefox?

Thanks for reporting the problem. It sounds like it may be an issue with Flash in the latest version of Firefox. It may be worth trying Shift+Refresh to clear the cache for the draw page in case that is causing the problem. I will try and reproduce the problem to find a solution. One day I will get the HTML version out and then this can't happen any more.

I had a problem with drawing in trees (I didn't check other pallets) just it works very slow. It took up to 1 minute to load the image of a piece when another has removed, as well turning on the other pieces of a spot.
I suposed it was my connection; may be it's a problem in flash / google Crhome instead.
