I think it would be nice if FT could be its own tab on the top of the page, it would be sort of like a showcase that lasts for a day. If anyone would like to elaborate upon this idea please do because I'm not sure what the details would be.

Possibly we should just start a forum topic for Fun Tuesday?

We could discuss the theme on Monday evening and begin to post our drawings as we create them on Tuesday. In the theme discussion, we should mention the date to which it applies, since some folks don't quite get what we're doing!
Then the thread could just be renewed in the same place the next week. This would give us a quick look back at previous fun as well.

Normal's idea is also good, as it would help new people understand what FT is, and that it is on TUESDAY only. But I think we could have both a Tab and a Thread. Is that overkill?

I think if it was a tab it would kind be like a one day showcase, but for now I would love to see this be a thread! Plus, what is the rule for who decides the FT theme?

all good ideas. i think a large part of the fun is the _informality_ of FT. different interpretations of the topic are part of the fun. quick and fun, open and inviting..if anyone wants to join in they do, the first FT design of the day sets the topic. as described at the start of this discussion, the big negative with the new gallery and FT is only seeing the last one by each person..to avoid this i use the old gallery which i access via a bookmark in my web browser (or a favorite in some browsers)..then i can see all the FT pics..the bookmark works well on FT and also other days too

I think it was 'lilalee' who started Fun Tuesday and she kept it going for a ages, inviting others to set the subject each week. Sadly, I haven't seen her around for a lo-o-ong time.
