... I remember the 1st time Palmasbob commented on a pic of mine... I actually bounced in my seat, gasped & clapped my hands for just a moment before I noticed my wife looking at me with an odd look on her face...

But it was the comment that excited me... I don't know if I even received a vote from Palmasbob on that pic...

I get a lot of "thanks for the comment" from the newcommers... Never "thanks for the vote" Newbies don't get the voting system right away anyway

I'm glad to hear others say that, 'cause I had already decided not to vote anymore myself. It just seems to cause to many problems. I actually might comment more now, there were times when I wanted to comment but didn't want to vote and I held back because it seems like some people really follow who's voting and who's not. I didn't want to get a "Why aren't you voting?" comment. Yes indeed, I have been freed!

And here last night I'd decide to vote and only comment that I'd voted, incase someone called for a recount.

I like this better; I figure we can still say it’s a five star effort if we need to.

I’m with matthew on this, I look at the votes because they’re there, but for me it’s the comments, I LOVE FEEDBACK, except in musical venues, then its just irritating.
