Right! lanie can do whatever she wants on her profile. No offense intended, lanie ^_^ It worries me when I see children posting their full names, addresses, and even their school on their profiles. This site is open to all.

If lanie is a child (i.e. a minor), I would discourage the posting of contact details on her profile.

Hi lanie.. lots of TDers might be able to help you - we have some amazing artists !

Check out some of the showcases, such as Famous faces : http://www.thinkdraw.com/showcase.php?showcase=famousFaces&s=0
or just post the picture that you'd like people to have a go at drawing, and I'm sure you'll get a response

Good luck, either way !

If you put your contact details on your profile, and refer people there, there would be a way to communicate directly. It might be awkward to discuss a job via a public forum. You should probably make it clear if you're intending to pay or not, and what sort of publication you have in mind (non-fiction book? novel? memoirs, short story? self-help?)
