Thank you puzzler! This is quite a surprise. I have only tried once before and probably would not have entered without your encouragement. I will try to think of the next subject and post it soon.

Brilliant! Well done you for all your efforts! Much appreciated! If I ever start a home furnishing design business, I'll know who to recruit. Let's look at the nominees....
Chlophilla's pillow pattern was a bold abstract design, delivered with confidence and panache;
Marg went for a fresh, flowery cushion designed with simplicity in mind;
Indigo's abstracts tumbled from the drawing board, suggesting games, (suitable for a teenager's bedroom, perhaps), through to a more sophisticated cornucopia of peaceful harmonious colours and textures. A wonderful display!
Val's Winter's end was carefully compiled and mesmerising on playback;
Bluemoon created two very intriguing and different designs;
Chelydra brought energy and flow to the challenge;
The Candy mix by Chirping was just delicious! Any child would love that design!
A minimalist approach by Hjjr, took the abstract theme to it's limits;
Mum23 evoked a rich organic feel to the design;
Normal made a very pretty floral pillow - perfect for any home, as was the colourful peacock by Priya41.
It has been a tough decision, but there can only be one winner - (opens envelope)- drum roll..... and the Mugdots Challenge CXVI Abstract designer is....
Bluemoon!! Congratulations! It was this which really caught my eye,

For me, it would make a great addition to any teenager's room, either as bedlinen or wallpaper, as it has a cartoon quality to it, without being defined by form, so the imagination can wander. Perfect!
